Annual Appeal

Did you know that the only not-for-profit organisation in Australia representing more than seven million Australians suffering from sleep disorders does not receive any funding? This is despite sleep disorders being correlated with putting lives at significant risk of health concerns including diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular disease, and cancer!

Sleep Disorders Australia (SDA) is Australia’s only patient support organisation that represents all sleep disorders and provides advocacy, services, and support for those affected by sleep disorders but we need your help.

By donating to SDA, you will help us fulfill our mission to advocate for the needs of people with sleep disorders, to raise awareness of sleep disorders and the significance they can have on the lives of those affected by them and to provide support and information to the community through our support services and ongoing education and awareness programs. An example of that is our new Sleep Health & Wellbeing Expo. We have been busy this year working to establish Australia’s first ever Sleep Health & Wellbeing Expo to be held annually in different cities around Australia starting in Brisbane on 9th October 2021. It will be a free event focusing on all 4 pillars of health, Sleep, Nutrition. Mindset and Exercise.

Sleep is often overlooked as being important to our health. However, research shows that without adequate sleep our health, resilience and performance is greatly impacted. Our goal is to shine a light on the importance of good sleep health and to show how a holistic approach, incorporating all 4 pillars of health is essential to overall wellbeing. Please consider donating. No amount is too small, every bit helps us reach our goals.

All donations over $2 are tax deductible and can be made directly to our PayPal account or via cheque or direct deposit. Please go to our Donations page on our website for details.

Please help us to provide a voice to those affected with sleep disorders so that they can live their best lives!
